Inspired Purpose
My intentions as a teacher
I hope to provide a secure environment where students are freely able to explore the world around them. I believe that I have the potential to affect the people my students will grow up to be. Therefore, I hope to inspire them to not only love exploring new topics, but to be compassionate and open minded people.
Personal Values
What values influence my teaching practices
I find the best way to portray my personal values is through the retelling of The Giving Tree. I consider security, friendship, freedom, openness and reliability all to be things I consistently focus on in the classroom. I hope that there will be a mutual understanding of these values between my students and I.
